Last post for a week I’m hoping.
This was the night I randomly got a taxi to @knuckleheadskc without knowing who was playing. There they were, @theflatlanders_official I had one of their albums that I loved. Anyways they’d a signed and customised Yamaha guitar for sale for $500 and I thought if they take credit card, which I bet to myself that they didn’t (this was a good 10 years ago) that I’d buy the guitar. Lo and behold they did have a card machine and I bought the axe. They said to me they’d had it quite a while and that they couldn’t let it go without each of them playing a song on it. 2hrs later after swapping songs and talking, we went our ways. It’s a lovely machine that I play often but I should’ve protected the pen work. Two of the autographs are fading.
